Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Nolti and govern your use of the Nolti website (nolti.ai) and the Nolti mobile app (together, the “Service”). Please read them carefully.
1. Agreement to these Terms
By joining the waitlist, downloading the app, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Who we are
Nolti (“Nolti”, “we”, “us”) is operated by an individual sole proprietor. You can reach us at hello@nolti.ai.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using Nolti, you represent that you are 16 or older and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. The Service is not directed to children.
4. The Service
Nolti turns the YouTube videos you follow into a searchable index — extracting topics, people, tips, and timestamped moments so you can jump straight to what was said instead of rewatching. The Service is in early access: features may change, break, or be added or removed, and availability is not guaranteed.
5. Your account and Google Sign-In
The app uses Google Sign-In. By signing in, you authorize Nolti to access your YouTube data (including your subscriptions and video transcripts) and, at your request, to add or remove subscriptions on your behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for activity that occurs through your Nolti account. You can revoke Nolti’s access to your Google account at any time via your Google account settings.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with usage limits, security, or access controls.
- Use the Service to infringe intellectual property or other rights of others.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our permission.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on and interoperates with third parties — including Google and YouTube and Apple. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, including the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third-party services, and their availability or changes may affect the Service.
8. Subscriptions and payments
Nolti offers an optional paid plan, Nolti Pro, with monthly and yearly options. During early access, Nolti is free; paid plans and pricing will be confirmed before general launch.
- Purchases are made through Apple in-app purchaseand billed to your Apple ID. Apple’s terms and its refund policy apply.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
- The free plan includes usage limits (for example, on the number of channels and daily analyses). Nolti Pro raises or removes these limits. We may adjust plan limits and pricing over time; we will not change the price of an active subscription period.
9. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you create in Nolti, such as saved snippets, moments, and notes. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and process that content and your YouTube data solely to operate and provide the Service to you (including sending relevant content to our AI providers as described in the Privacy Policy). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content already shared or where retention is legally required.
10. Intellectual property
The Service — including the Nolti name, app, website, design, and software — is owned by Nolti and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right in our trademarks or software beyond the limited right to use the Service. Videos and other content indexed through the Service belong to their respective owners (such as YouTube creators); Nolti grants you no rights in that third-party content.
11. AI-generated output
The Service uses automated AI systems to generate summaries, insights, and other output. This output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. It is provided for convenience only and is not professional advice of any kind. You are responsible for verifying anything important before relying on it.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Because the Service is in early access, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that data will not be lost. Use it at your own risk.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nolti will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Nolti harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
15. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
16. Changes to these Terms and the Service
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms. We may also modify or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your own country of residence.
18. Apple App Store
The following applies when you obtain the app through the Apple App Store. These Terms are between you and Nolti only, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation with respect to the app, and any claims relating to the app (including product liability, legal or regulatory non-compliance, or consumer-protection claims) are our responsibility, not Apple’s. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government restricted-parties list.
